1. Scope

These terms govern your use of the Spurlos iOS app. Provider:

The app is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. The Apple Media Services Terms apply in addition.

2. What the app does

Spurlos analyses files for embedded metadata and, on request, produces a cleaned copy. All processing happens locally on the device; the app contains no networking code.

2.2 Spurlos Pro

Spurlos Pro is a one-time purchase of €4.99 (not a subscription) and unlocks: cleaning of PDF, Office, OpenDocument and iWork documents as well as video and audio files, batch processing, selective removal of individual fields and the Shortcuts action.

3. Contract and billing

The purchase contract for Spurlos Pro is concluded between you and Apple; billing runs through your Apple ID. The purchase is one-time and nothing renews automatically. After switching devices you can reactivate it in the app via "Restore purchases".

4. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Your obligations

You only use the app on files you have the necessary rights to.
You are responsible for securing your device (screen lock, backups).

6. Liability and limits of cleaning

Spurlos removes the metadata it finds in a file and then verifies the result itself. For formats whose content the app cannot parse, only file system traces are removed, and the app says so explicitly in the result. Beyond that, no guarantee can be given that a file allows no inferences at all — for instance through the image content itself.

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breaches of material contractual duties, limited to foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract.

7. Data protection

Our privacy policy applies.

8. Final provisions

German law applies. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
